VirtualBox 3.1 is here - Features migration of a live VM ses

What I would like is a VirtualBox OS - something I can install on a server that does nothing but boot up my various VM's. It feels almost wasteful to have a full OS running when all it does is run VM's.

You probably know about stuff like Xen or the more expensive VMWare products that essentially do this.

I've never been able to get Xen running, and the concept of "expensive" along with software is foreign to me.

I love virtualbox, it's easy, and it works exactly how I would expect it to. I just want more.

Xen kernel on Centos, i think the "expensive" version of vmware's products are just vmware running on RHEL.
